Hassan is a chartered architectural technologist and fire safety professional with over 17 years’ experience across architecture, statutory compliance, and fire safety. He is the Director of Tethion, a specialist consultancy focused on Building Safety Act compliance, Building Regulations Principal Designer roles, and design coordination on complex projects.

Hassan has worked across healthcare, residential, education, and mixed-use sectors, including higher-risk buildings, where he supports clients and project teams through Gateway processes, technical reviews, and dutyholder coordination. His background as a designer gives him a practical understanding of buildability, interface risk, and multidisciplinary working, which he brings to statutory and advisory roles.

He is an active member of the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) and contributes to technical groups supporting the development of industry guidance and best practice. Hassan regularly delivers CPD sessions on building safety, fire safety, and regulatory compliance, and is keen to support Constructing Excellence’s mission by promoting collaboration, competence, and better coordinated outcomes across the built environment.
