With over two decades of experience in building services engineering, Mike has dedicated the past 16 years to healthcare-focused projects. He specialises in delivering complex schemes and managing critical ventilation systems in collaboration with both public and private healthcare organisations across the UK.

In addition to his role at Stantec as a Technical Director, Mike is a registered Authorising Engineer for Ventilation with the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM), where he also holds Fellowship status and supports Engineering Council applications. He is also affiliated with CIBSE, the IET, and the Specialist Ventilation in Healthcare Society (SVHSoc).

Mike is looking forward to contributing to the Constructing Excellence Manchester committee, championing collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation while helping to inspire and support the next generation of engineers entering the industry.
