Greater Manchester has set a challenging target of a reduction in CO2 of 48% by 2020 compared with 1990 levels. To achieve this aim will require action in both the public and private sectors.
This presentation will describe the current programme of work being undertaken by the Combined Authority ranging from district heating schemes to the potential for a Greater Manchester energy trading company.
